Feeding the Ducks

We took Anni to the park today to feed the ducks. She thought it was great fun to throw the bread, until she got hungry and then decided it was more fun to eat the bread and throw rocks at the ducks.

This is my favorite, she's so excited about throwing rocks.

Staying with Grandma and Grandpa

Staying with Grandma and Grandpa is always fun. We read stories, especially Biscuit, her very favorite book.

She got a sandbox and just loves it!

She was so excited to get it!

We went to visit Sharlott and Skye.

We takes trips around the room in Grandpa's shoes.

Of course we play in the in the playhouse too!

At the end of a long day of playing, we snuggle Grandma.

Christmas Firsts

Anni got her first haircut on Christmas Eve. Megan did a great job, although Anni wasn't happy about it.

Anni also had her first experience in the snow.

She wasn't sure what to think of it.

We spent Christmas morning with my family and Christmas night with Kelly's family. Ryan, Megan, and Addison were at my parent's too. It was so nice to see them all.

It was very nice. Halfway through the luncheon Anni peed through her diaper and onto my lap.I got to visit with Sharlott and her daughter Skye. Anni was being a bully and kept stealing toys from her. Kelly, Sarah, Abigail, and Josh came down after Christmas, so we got to visit with them too.It was a great visit, but it was nice to come home. The car was packed, we had way too much stuff to pack into that tiny car. We miss you everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving with a house packed with family. Kelly's parents came almost a week early to help us with the baby.

Anni warmed right up and just loved having so much attention.Justin, Ross, Lyndsay, Jasmine, Isabelle, and Carter came on Wednesday. We had a great meal. Kelly made a turkey, stuffing, and yams. Lyndsay made a salad and brought some rolls. I made pumpkin pies.

We went classic white trash and had plastic plates, cups, and utensils because we didn't have enough dishes for 11 people.

Kelly gave Anni a small bowl of ice cream for dessert. The resulting sugar rush was interesting.

Happy Halloween!

Anni was a chicken for Halloween! We didn't have room for a costume in the budget, but Grandma Cindee and Grandpa Steve came to the rescue and had this one from last year.

I took her into Lowe's to trick or treat since everyone kept telling me I had an imaginary child because no one had ever seen her. She got a box of animal crackers and a bag of teddy grahams from my manager. She learned how to open the Velcro on the front of the jacket, but can't get her arms out of the sleeves, so she ran around the house looking like a flasher for awhile too.

Ross's Visit

I'm pretty slow to get this up, but Ross came and spent a weekend with us. We took a few hikes and just hung out a lot. Anni remembered him almost right away.

She scraped up her leg for the first time just after Ross left. She fell on one of her toys.Loving a walk with Uncle Ross.

Ross found a huge mushroom, and was in 7th heaven.
