14 Weeks

Anni is 14 weeks old now.

Yesterday we took her up to Logan so Kelly's family could see her in her Halloween costume, pictures coming soon. The grandmas and grandpa were so happy to see her. She chattered up a storm, and was a good girl, beside puking in her costume anyway.

She puked while on her tummy today and stuck her face in it. That's what all the shiny is in this picture.

13 Weeks

Annika is 13 weeks old today and will officially be 3 months old tomorrow. She coos and smiles a lot, but still won't laugh for us again. Her hair is starting to grow in, so we don't have a baldy baby anymore. She's just a doll and is getting more personality every day.

She's getting close to rolling over, but can't quite seem to get her arms out of the way. She loves playing with her hands and is learning how to grip her toys. She's starting to mimic the cooing sounds we make at her sometimes too.

12 Weeks Old

We have an appointment to figure out Anna's puking and tummy issues on Wednesday. I'm hoping Dr. Qader will just give us some antacids rather than sticking a tube down her throat.

We still haven't managed to get her to laugh again. She is very talkative though. We put her down in her crib just now and she squealed and started "talking" to the giraffes on her mobile. She loves her mobile, but hasn't seen it in about 4 or 5 days because we haven't dared put her flat on her back to sleep. She puked and started choking on it 5 days ago, so we've been a little paranoid.

She loves bathtime, it calms her down even when she's cranky. I foresee many cute, bubbly baby pictures in the future, once she can sit on her own and play in the water.

First Laugh

Annika's first laugh. We were so excited! We can't seem to get her to do it again, so we're just going to stick with the naked baby version.

11 Weeks Old

Poor little Anna has been sick. She's has a fever off and on for the last three days and has been pretty lethargic. The doctor said to just keep an eye on her temperature and monitor her fluid intake. Which is accomplished by monitoring output.

Rocky Baby Balboa

On the bright side, she's smiling a lot now, and doing it spontaneously. Laughing and squealing in delight are the next vocal milestones. Rolling over is probably the next motor skill milestone.
