47 Weeks Old

It's been a big week. Anni cut 3 teeth, two on the bottom and that one on the top she's been working on for the past month. I really hope it doesn't swell back over, again.

She loves to walk while holding onto our hands, and will do laps around the house. It won't be long until our little terror is reeking havoc all over the house.

46 Weeks Old

Our muffin is a chatterbox! She sings, hums, and talks to her stuffed animals. It's absolutely adorable.

I can't believe how big she's getting. She can drink from a straw (so long as it's a short one she doesn't have to suck hard on) and is loving grown up food. We gave her her own little plate of lasagna last night while we were eating too and she just loved it. She chews like a pro, but still only has 2 teeth to chew with. I gave her a few whole raspberries and she loved those too. Pulled a really funny face when she got a tart one, but still wanted more. She'll start smacking her lips and pointing when Kelly or I come near her with a plate or bowl.

45 Weeks Old

Anni has started pointing to things she wants. It's really sweet. She's starting to toss her pacifier too. I think we'll be able to wean her off of it during the day by her birthday. She loves grown up food, especially string cheese. She's growing up so fast.

44 Weeks Old

Anni spent all week at Grandma LeAnn's while we were on vacation. She loved it, and so did Anni. Thanks for taking our little muffin Grandma!

43 Weeks Old

Anni is standing like a pro and will inch a tiny bit to one side or the other while standing, but not much else. It'll be a week or so before she's cruising around the furniture I think. She's learned to pick things up with her thumb and first finger now, and feeds herself like a champ. I've got a few darling videos I'll post later.

I think her top teeth are coming in now, she's been fussy and had a runny nose all week. Poor little muffin won't eat well and just seems uncomfortable.

Look at all that hair! It curls quite a bit when she's fresh out of the tub.

42 Weeks Old

Anni is pulling herself up on EVERYTHING and getting into tons of trouble. She thumped her little noggin at great grandma's today and has a little bruise. She loves being mobile, and doesn't sit still for a second. At the moment, she's enjoying her freedom at Grandma Cindee's and pulling the movies off of the dvd rack.

She's learned to wave bye-bye and will do it when someone says it to her. Usually.

She's also learning "no" and will usually stop what she's doing and look at us when we say it.

41 Weeks Old

Annika is pulling herself up to standing fairly regularly and her one top tooth is slowly coming through. She's a lot less miserable from it this week. She's just as busy as ever, and seems to be getting more and more ticklish. She laughs quite a bit more than she used to.The newest thing she's started to do is giving kisses. Granted, her kisses are just her pressing her wide open mouth against your cheek, lips, or nose, but it's really sweet. Sometimes she licks our cheek rather than kissing it, but that's just part of her charm.
