Hi everyone!
She likes books, and likes being read to, but doesn't quite have the patience to sit on our laps through a whole story without trying to eat the book.
Hi everyone!
She can balance on her hands and knees for about 10 seconds, but hasn't started rocking on them yet. We went to breakfast with my mom, Grandma Sonia, and Grandpa Tom yesterday. She was an absolute angel. She sat in the high chair and ate her cinnamon, raisin granola baby food and then just watched all the people. She's a charmer, and just smiled at everyone.
We visited Kelly's parents on Saturday. Anni's afraid of her Grandpa Brent. She cried whenever he tried to hold her or came too close. I just think she needs to spend more time around him and she'll warm right up.
The new baby foods are hit or miss. We're going to keep trying, of course, but she's definitely got an opinion about which ones she likes and which ones she doesn't. She doesn't seem to like the super sweet ones, which is a good thing, and is iffy on meat mixes. She loves cinnamon, raisin granola and turkey with sweet potatoes. She hated the chicken and apples and pulled some really funny faces at guava.
She loves her new jumperoo at great Grandma's but I'll let her take the pictures of that. It's just too cute.
According to Grandma Sonia, she's not enjoying green beans now either. I guess green equals gross. I mixed some peaches with a bowl of rice cereal tonight, and she really loved it. She stole the spoon from me on the last bite, so I just let her try to feed herself and play with it. There was a messy result, but she had fun, and that's the important part.
Her 6 month old check up in on Wednesday. She really seems to be putting on the pounds, so I'm hoping that she's gone from the 25th percentile to the 50th.
Her medicine is working more and more all the time, she barely spits up at all anymore. It may just be from the solids, or just because she's getting older, but I'm putting my money on the medicine.
Anna officially hates peas. Apparently that face that I pull when something tastes gross is hereditary. I didn't quite capture it, but it was spot on!
